At DMV Dream Softball, our 14U teams are an essential part of the Advanced Training Phase, where players build on foundational skills developed at the 12U level. This phase prepares athletes for high school competition while continuing to cultivate their passion for the game.
Meet Our 14U Coaches
Coach Phillip Tomlin – Head Coach, 14U-B Team
Coach Phillip Tomlin leads our 14U-B team with a wealth of coaching experience and a deep commitment to player development. He currently serves as the Head Varsity Coach at St. Vincent Pallotti High School, where he brings a winning mindset and a dedication to cultivating the potential of young athletes. His leadership ensures our 14U-B players excel in advanced skill development and competitive play.
Coach Jarrod Badger – Head Coach, 14U-C Team
The 14U-C team is guided by Coach Jarrod Badger, who focuses on refining fundamental skills and preparing players to advance to higher levels of competition. Coach Badger’s expertise lies in fostering a supportive yet challenging environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and a love for the game.

As players progress from the 14U teams, they enter the College Readiness Phase (16U-18U). This phase is structured for competitive play and tailored skill development:

C Teams: Continue foundational skills training with competitive play for high school preparation.

B Teams: Engage in advanced tournaments and showcases.

A Level Showcase Teams: Compete at the highest level, maximizing exposure to college scouts.
