Our Mission
Where Athletics Meets Academics
DMV Dream Athletics Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving young athletes and students across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. We were founded on a simple belief: the same discipline, coaching, and community that develop a young person on the field can develop them in the classroom.
Every DMV Dream program pairs athletic training with academic support. Our summer camps combine softball instruction with structured tutoring. Our after-school programs bring enrichment and academic help directly into local schools. Our teams teach competitiveness, accountability, and leadership that carry far beyond the scoreboard.
Our Mission
To develop the whole athlete by combining quality athletic training with academic enrichment, mentorship, and opportunity for young people in the DMV region, regardless of their family's ability to pay.
Who We Are
DMV Dream Athletics was founded by Phillip Tomlin, a veteran coach and educator who was named 2025 IAAM Softball Conference Coach of the Year. Coach Tomlin leads a staff of coaches and tutors who share one standard: every young person who comes through our programs leaves stronger as an athlete and as a student.
