DMV Dream 16U Program

We offer two competitive 16U teams designed to meet players where they are—and push them to the next level. Both teams compete in regional events and are led by coaches who prioritize development, accountability, and building complete, college-ready athletes.

 

16U Elite Showcase – Exposure, Development & College Preparation

Our 16U Elite Showcase team is for driven athletes who are ready to compete at top regional showcase events and pursue college softball. With an emphasis on recruiting readiness, advanced skills, and mental performance, this team is for players looking to stand out.

16U-B – High-Level Competition with Structured Development

Our 16U-B team offers a highly competitive experience for players who are still growing into the showcase level. With strong fundamentals, team-first coaching, and a focus on consistent reps, this team is built to help athletes advance.

Tryout Process

After our initial open tryouts, selected athletes will be invited to a final, invite-only tryout where a selection committee will evaluate players for placement on either the 16U-B or 16U Elite Showcase team.

The final evaluation will take place on July 30th, with a make-up date on August 6th for those who cannot attend.

We’re looking for players who are coachable, competitive, and committed to putting in the work it takes to grow within a high-level travel program. Our committee is focused on building two strong, balanced teams that reflect the values and standards of DMV Dream.
